TERREBONNE – A 21-year-old Terrebonne man died in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday when his Chevy Suburban left Lower Bridge Road on a curve and struck a tree, Deschutes County sheriff’s deputies said.

The victim was identified as Tyrel I. Miller.

Shortly after 2 a.m., deputies and Redmond/Terrebonne fire paramedics responded to Lower Bridge Road at Northwest 19th Street, said Sgt. Gary Decker.

An initial investigation indicates that the Suburban was westbound on Lower Bridge Road and that Miller, alone in the vehicle, apparently lost control while traveling through a curve just past 19th Street.

The vehicle went off the south side of the road, crashing into a tree.

It’s not yet known if alcohol was involved, Decker said, adding that the investigation was continuing.
