A Bend man was arrested for allegedly stabbing another Bend resident in the back at a home on Bend’s west side.
Shortly before 11 p.m. Bend Police responded to a dispute at a home on NW Albany regarding a stabbing. According to police, Hollister Starr was stabbed in the back multiple times by Thomas Cheney.
Starr was transported to St. Charles by Bend Ambulance. He underwent emergency surgery to treat his wounds. Starr remains a patient at St. Charles.
Cheney was arrested for Assault Two and lodged at the Deschutes County Jail.
Bend Police that Thomas and Cheney knew each other.
